And it should be every man’s right to make YouTube videos if one wants to…but that doesn’t mean they have the will to do it.
…which is where I’ve been struggling, getting myself energized about writing, editing, and releasing videos. I think it’s related to a fear of imperfection, a fear of getting something wrong.
If I can’t get going, I wonder how I can best bring in more interest and opinions to Cooperative HVAC. Maybe just blogging is enough, but I am also falling down on completing those!
I have worked remotely for 6 years continuously, since COVID first forced us to work from home. At the time I was working for Carrier Commercial and was Manager for Controls SW group there. Soon after that happened we lost our office space because of some desk space shuffling and we never went back in. After leaving Carrier I got a job at Daikin, there as one of the lead engineers on their Goodman residential HVAC products. Daikin is in Houston and I live in Charlotte, so you can imagine what that meant.
I am now trying to go it on my own, but I can’t really go it “on my own”. I need to find more people who are interested, more people who live near me. Someone to work with and talk to about my ideas…ideally in Charlotte (in person). I need to start taking the steps to build connection and bring about success.
